While I was taking a shower yesterday, Sarah whipped open the curtain to talk to
me, thus letting in cold air and letting out water. I explained (again) that
the shower curtain is not soundproof and does not need to be opened for me to hear
her. That gave me an idea, and I spent the rest of my shower fantasizing about the perfect shower barrier. It would be controlled by a button inside the shower that would put up an opaque soundproof, waterproof, childproof wall.
