Loading the beast. We borrowed a topper from friends, so we're not so crammed. Notice Marty in the van checking things out. Must remember to make sure she gets out before we leave.
Kitty activity bags and new boxes from Aldi to explore while we're gone. Each cat has a bag (which is fun in itself) with a little stuffed animal (borrowed from the kids), a catnip toy, a pipe cleaner, and a little ball.
The kids made a giant bowl of trail mix with dried fruit, nuts, cereal, pretzels, and M&Ms. We put it in bags to snack on while on the road. Super duper in-laws took us out for dinner and gave the kids some spending money. I think we're almost ready. Leaving way too early in the morning.
